Wallisellen, 24 June 2020 – This year’s General Assembly of the SVTI was one for the history books. In view of official regulations related to COVID-19, the meeting was conducted in writing. The SVTI can look back on an eventful anniversary year. The association posted strong results and is ideally positioned to meet the challenges of the future.
In light of the official measures to counteract the spread of the coronavirus, the planned General Assembly had to adapt to the unusual circumstances. For the first time in the history of the SVTI, the General Assembly was held in writing. Association members who registered for postal voting approved the proposals by a large majority.
The SVTI and the SVTI Group, comprised of the SVTI and the Swiss Safety Center AG, posted consistently strong results in fiscal year 2019. Consolidated operating results rose year-on-year. Leasing of the office space in the extension building got off to a successful start and was nearly completed by the end of the year.
